The 2005 Crimson Classic
Saturday, September 17th, 2005
Location: Harry Pritchett Cross Country Course
(former University of Alabama golf course)
Directions to Course: I-59/20, exit McFarland Blvd. (#73), north to 15th Street and turn right at University Mall. East on 15th Street (this road becomes Veteran's Pkwy) approx. 2 miles, stay in the right lane and exit for golf course and Arboretum. At stop sign go straight and follow road to left to golf course. The VA Hospital parking lot will be used and is visible as you get off of 15th St (Veteran's Pkwy). There will be limited team parking at the club house parking lot and large team buses and spectators will use the VA Hospital lot.

- 9:00 am 8 km University Men
- 9:45 am 5 km University Women
- 10:30 am 5 km High School Boys
- 11:00 am 5 km High School Girls
- 11:30 am 3.5 km Junior High Girls
- Noon 3.5 km Junior High Boys
Format:
- High School and Junior High Races: limited to 10 (ten) entries per squad/ team per school (additional squads of 10 may be entered at an additional $10.00/ squad fee.)
- University races limited to college and invited runners only. Teams will be allowed unlimited entries.
Entry fee:
(All checks for entry fee should be payable to: The University of Alabama)
- High School and Junior High - $40 per team, per gender for the first squad. (max 10 entrants per squad from a school) Additional squads of 10 max. can run for an additional fee of $10.00 for each additional squad)
- University - $80 per team, per gender
- Individual - $25 per person
An additional fee of $10.00/gender/ team will be assessed to the entry fee if entries Faxed. Late adjustments or substitutions will be assessed a $10.00 fee/ change.
All late and FAX fees are payable to CFPI Timing.
Entries: Web based entry procedure only. The entry web site is located at www.cfpitiming.com. The entry site will be active from September 1st-13th, 2005. Please enter your team and athletes at the web site. A fee of $10.00/gender/ team will be assessed if entries are Faxed.

Deadline: Entries must be received no later than 5:00 pm, Tuesday, September 13.
Packets: All team packets can be picked up at the course starting Saturday @ 8 a.m. All entry fees must be paid at this time.
Awards: Top 2 teams will receive awards and top 15 individuals will receive t-shirts in each of the High School, Junior High and University races.
Course: All grass, flat to rolling with limited cart path crossing. Spikes recommended.

Results: Results will be posted prior to the awards ceremonies at the clubhouse and also will be available at each of the above websites after the meet.
Unattached Runners for the College Races must contact the coaches below for approval. If accepted the coaches will forward your name to CFPI for entry.
