The 2004 Alabama women’s cross country team has been named an All-Academic Team by the Women’s Intercollegiate Cross Country Coaches Association for the fifth time and the fourth year in a row.
The Crimson Tide squad was one of just four Southeastern Conference teams to be named All-Academic with Distinction. It marks the second time in the last four years that Alabama has earned the “with Distinction” honor.
The eight members of coach Steve Keith’s 2004 crew sported a 3.293 team grade point average. Keith, in his fourth season with Alabama, has seen everyone of his team’s named All-Academic.
