The Alabama gymnastics team, which faces UNC Friday night in its regular season finale, is ranked fourth in the latest national rankings.
The Crimson Tide, coming off its lone off-week of the regular season, closes out the regular season at home after three straight weeks on the road. It will also be Senior Night in Coleman Coliseum.
LSU is currently No.1, followed by Utah and Nebraska. UCLA follows the Tide to round out the top five. The rest of the top 10 looks like this, No. 6 Florida, No. 7 Michigan, No. 8 Georgia, No. 9 Oklahoma and No. 10 Iowa State.
The Tide is ranked second on the floor exercise, third on the uneven bars, ninth on the vault and 12th on the balance beam.
Individually, junior Ashley Miles remains No. 1 on the vault and floor exercise, a fact that is unlikely to change anytime soon. She is 15th in the all-around and 23rd on the uneven bars.
Freshman Terin Humphrey is eighth on the uneven bars and 15th on the balance beam. Senior Alexis Brion is 24th on the floor exercise and 25th on the vault, while junior Mari Bayer is 24th on the uneven bars.
Tickets for Friday's meet are available through the Alabama Ticket Office (205.348.BAMA) or online at www.rolltide.com.
