Tide's Moody to Host Annual Charity Golf Tournament

TUSCALOOSA - University of Alabama head women's basketball coach Rick Moody will hold his seventh annual Invitational Golf Tournament benefiting the Big Brothers Big Sisters of West Alabama on Thursday, Sept. 9 at Ol' Colony Golf Course.
"Big Brothers Big Sisters is such a positive impacting organization in the West Alabama community," said Moody. "I continued to be honored in having an association with this wonderful group. It is truly a privilege for me to again host a golf tournament that helps raise money for such a worthy cause."
Entry fee for the event is $200 per person or $800 for a team with $150 of the entry cost being tax deductible. The event is limited to 50 teams and will feature a morning (shotgun at 8 a.m.) and afternoon (shotgun at 1 p.m.) wave with all participants receiving a lunch and a sponsor's gift bag. Prizes will be awarded to the top three gross and net team scores as well as for many on-course competitions.
