Alabama Swimmer Anne Poleska Second After Olympic Prelims

University of Alabama swimmer Anne Poleska posted the second fastest time of the day in the preliminaries of the 200m breaststroke at the Athens Olympics today.
Poleska, the Southeastern Conference record holder in the 200 breaststroke, posted a 2:26.48 to win her prelims heat. She is seeded second going into the semi-finals just behind Australia's Liesel Jones.
Representing her native Germany, Poleska will swim again tonight in the semi-finals with a chance to move on to Thursday night's championship finals.
