TUSCALOOSA, ALA - For the second time in three days, the Southeastern Conference Softball Championships held at the Alabama Softball Complex saw a game go past midnight as Auburn upset No. 2 ranked LSU 2-0.
The two teams will now meet tomorrow morning at 9 a.m. to determine who will meet Georgia in the 1 p.m. championship game. Inclement weather and a game that went 10 innings pushed the finish of the Tigers tale to 12:05 a.m. For Auburn, it was the first time they'd won three SEC Tournament games in a season for LSU, it was only the second time they'd been shut out all season.
Auburn scored two runs in the first inning and made it stick. Kristin Keyes went seven innings, giving up only one hit, to go to 27-10 on the season. Emily Turner goes to 17-5 with the loss.

LSU STATE QUOTES:
Head Coach Yvette Girouard:
"I thought (Auburn pitcher Kristen) Keyes threw a pretty good game. I was disappointed in our discipline and execution at the plate. We just have to regroup and come out tomorrow."
On the choice to pitch Emily Turner over Kristin Schmidt:
"I think Turner needs to get some SEC experience. Sometimes you have to win in a loss. We put Schmidt through a lot in last year's SEC Tournament and she flat burned out in regionals."
AUBURN QUOTES:
Auburn Head Coach Tina Deese
"I think we played a great game tonight. Kristen Keyes was Kristen Keyes. Tonight she pitched a great game against a great team. The kids were up, played hard and played great."
