What is your most memorable moment as a golfer?
“My most memorable moment was about a year ago at the Future Masters (Dothan, Al.) where I shot a seven under par. It was not my best tournament, but it was one I really wanted to win.”
Who is your favorite professional golfer?
“I really like Davis Love III. I have read his book, and I really admire him as a person and a golfer.”
Why did you choose to come and play golf at the University of Alabama?
“The main reason I decided to come to Alabama was Coach Seawell. He had just gotten here, and I was a part of his first recruiting class at Alabama. He is a great coach and motivator. I also decided to come here because it was close to home, and I really didn’t want to go out of the area.”
What age did you start to play golf, and what got you interested in golf?
“I started playing at the age of ten when my family moved into a neighborhood with a golf course. Being close to a golf course allowed me to play more often, and peaked my interest in the game.”
What was the biggest transition between High School and Division 1 competition?
“I am redshirted so I haven’t had the chance to compete that much. In High School, I was one of the top players in my area and in the state, and then get here and realize that everyone was the top player in their area. In College golf there is a much higher level of competition.”
Do you one day see golf as a career?
“I don’t think I would play in college if I didn’t want to play at the next level. I am shooting for that opportunity to play on the next level and hope it happens.”
