TUSCALOOSA - The University of Alabama women's basketball team (11-12, 3-7 SEC) is hosting its annual "Fan Appreciation Day" when the Tide takes on Arkansas (14-8, 3-6 SEC) in a crucial SEC match-up on Sunday at 2 p.m.
As part of "Fan Appreciation", admission to the game is free for everyone. Crimson Tide fans in attendance will have the opportunity to get a variety of Alabama collectible items as part of in-game promotionals.
Prior to the game, which is being televised live by Fox Sports Net South, Alabama will honor 10th anniversary of the school's only NCAA Final Four squad. The 1994 women's basketball team will be introduced before the game as part of a celebration of their historic accomplishment. They are the only Alabama basketball team, men's or women's, to advance to the Final Four.
Sunday's game is also the next to last home game for the Crimson Tide this season. Alabama will conclude its home slate on Feb. 26 against rival Auburn.
