Alabama Women's Tennis Adds One for 2005 Season

Alabama head tennis coach Jenny Mainz has added Andrea Brenes to her roster for the upcoming 2005 season.
Brenes comes to Alabama as the No. 1 ranked junior from Costa Rica as well as an established doubles player. She has won three ITF doubles events and reached the quarterfinals or beyond in 20 ITF doubles tournaments. Mainz is excited about the experience level that Brenes will add to her team.
“We are very fortunate to have Andrea joining our team in January,” said Mainz. “She is a very experienced player as she has competed in many ITF and national level tournaments. She has the capability to come in and immediately contribute to our team.”
Brenes will enroll in January and play her first match with the Crimson Tide on January 22 when Alabama hosts Denver.
