Polyakov Finals in 200 Breaststroke at FINA World Championships

Alabama sophomore Vlad Polyakov continues his hot streak at the FINA World Championships being held in Indianapolis, Ind. this week, taking fifth in the preliminaries of the 200m breaststroke.
Polyakov posted a 2:09.83 less than 24 hours after grabbing a bronze medal in the 100m breaststroke. The Kazakhstan native finished fifth in both the 100 and 200m breaststroke at the this summer's Olympic Games in Athens. As a freshman he was second in the 200 breaststroke at the NCAA Championships.
