Men's Cross Country Places Fourth at Auburn Invitational

Led by a second place finish by sophomore Alex Korir, The University of Alabama men’s cross country team posted a fourth place finish at the Auburn Invitational.
Korir finished the 8k course in a time of 24:51.73 nearly nine seconds faster than the third place finish.
Senior Kevin McDonough also provided strong support posting a sixth place finish with a time of 25:12.38.
Gaiting Kara was the third Tide athlete to cross the finish line, doing so in 26:15.76, placing him 31st.
Junior Peter Etoot saw his first action of the season and finished the course in a time of 26:23.32 good enough for a 37th place finish.
Freshman Paul Guevara closed out the scoring for the Tide finishing 85th with a time of 27:42.67.
The Crimson Tide will return to action on Friday, October 22 when the team travels to Starkville, Mississippi for the Mississippi State Invite.
