Takin’ it to the Streets
UA Women’s Golf in the Community

The women’s golf team hosted a party and golf clinic for Crossing Point program.
The Alabama Athletic Department has made a conscious push to have everyone in the department participate in some form of community involvement. The Crimson Tide women’s golf program has been a major participant in this effort.
From writing letters to second graders as part of the department’s Pen Pal Program to youth golf clinics Alabama golf is providing the youth of the community with an example of the good things in collegiate athletics.
Alabama women’s golfers were active in nearly every community involvement project developed by the athletic department and its lifeskills program.
The women's golf team regularly serve as volunteers at the Community Soup Bowl. Golfers joined athletes from several other sports in a visit to a local elementary school, where the Tiders motivated the children in a school reading contest.
As a team, women’s golf joined the rest of the Crimson Tide athletic programs in raising money for HomelessnessWeek and Project Angel Tree.
Every season, fans from around the area demonstrate their commitment to the Crimson Tide women’s golf team.With their continued involvement in community projects, Alabama golfers show their commitment back to their fans.
