Along with the Tide (3-2), No. 16 Ohio State, Florida Atlantic and host school Florida International complete the field.
Alabama has never played Ohio State or FIU, but the Tide and the FAU Owls have a bit of NCAA history. The two first met in the 2000 NCAA Regional tournament where Alabama was victorious in a 1-0 nine-inning marathon. FAU got its revenge in last year's NCAA Regional tournament eliminating the Crimson Tide from competition.
The Crimson Tide is led by SEC Player of the Week Ashley Courtney and senior co-captain Lacy Prejean. The two are currently hitting at a .467 clip, Prejean with two home runs and five RBI and Courtney with a double, triple and a home run and a team leading six RBI.
Alabama will open the tournament on Friday against Florida Atlantic at 11:00 a.m. followed by a 4:00 p.m. game with FIU. The Tide will close out its round-robin play on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. against Ohio State and tournament play begins at 4:00 p.m. The Championship game is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. on Sunday. All times are Eastern.

Alabama will return to Tuscaloosa to open the home portion of its schedule the following weekend at the 2003 Bama Bash!
