Tide Softball Honored Prior to Alabama-LSU Football Game

While the University of Alabama softball team is preparing for the 2004 season, the team took one last moment to honor its accomplishments from the 2003 season, prior to the start of the Alabama-LSU football game.
The Crimson Tide captured its second NCAA Regional championship and appearance in the Women’s College World Series in four years. Alabama also won its second SEC Tournament championship with a 3-1 victory over LSU in the finals while also laying claim to its first ever SEC West Division championship.
The Crimson Tide will open the 2004 season on Friday, February 6 at the Stanford Spring Classic and will return home to open the home portion of its schedule on Friday, February 13 when the team hosts the Hampton Inn Bama Bash!
