Gymnasts to Sign Autographs, Receive Rings Saturday

TUSCALOOSA, ALA -- A little less than a week after their first official practice, the members of the 2003 Alabama Gymnastics team will make their first official public appearance Saturday on the Quad located at the center of the University of Alabama campus.
Starting at 4 p.m., the gymnasts will be signing autographs before the Alabama-Southern Mississippi football game. The autograph tent is located near the stage where Tom Roberts will be hosting Alabama’s pre-game radio show.
And while Crimson Tide fans will be able to meet the latest edition of the Crimson Tide pre-game, the 2002 National Champion Alabama Gymnastics Team will be honored at half-time of the football game at which time they will receive their national championship rings.
