2008 Summer Camp
Roll Tide! Train this summer with Alabama's best. The University of Alabama's athletic program is steeped in tradition and pride, which makes this Crimson Tide Tennis Camp an unforgettable experience.
Campers will play at one of the finest tennis complexes in the nation, which features twelve lighted outdoor courts, and four indoor courts at the Hank Crisp Indoor Facility. Campers also have access to the varsity track, swimming pools, and numerous recreational facilities. Off-court activities include a pizza party, games, and other social events.
Crimson Tide head men's coach, Billy Pate directs the camp. In his six year as head coach, he offers a long history of tennis coaching and camp experience. Assisting Coach Pate, will be men's assistant coach, Lee Nickell. He is in his fourth year with the Tide and is an outstanding player and coach.

Typical Weekly Schedule:
7:00am: Wake-up and breakfast
8:30am: Stretching
8:40am: Agility Conditioning
9:25am: Serve, Serve Return, Serve and Volley
10:10am: Ball Machine Practice (Groundstrokes and net play)
10:55am: Active Drilling
12:00pm: Lunch
1:00pm: Off court-Physical Fitness Testing/Speaker
2:25pm: Singles Play
3:45pm: Doubles Situation and Drills
5:15pm: Dinner
6:30pm: Evening Activity
10:00pm: Campers to rooms
10:15pm: Lights Out
