“Taylor has added new wrinkles to his game in the past year by becoming a much more efficient transitional player, something he did not specialize in when he started his college career.  His volleys and returns are much improved and he has added more strength due to his efforts in the weight room.  If he continues on his current path he has a good chance to challenge for a strating singles position soon.”

Fall 2006

Concluded the fall with a record of 8-4 in singles and 1-2 in doubles
Won all three of his singles matches at the Crimson Tide Fall Championships
Posted three singles victories at the Baylor 2006 Men’s HEB Intercollegiate
Went 3-0 with doubles partner Joseph Jung, including two wins at the Crimson Tide Fall Championships

Sophomore Season (2005-2006)
Claimed a 6-1, 6-2 victory over Jason Thomas of Samford
Was a perfect 2-0 in doubles contests with partner Dan Buikema
Played in eight singles matches during the fall with two victories

Freshman Season (2004-2005)

Won first five collegiate matches
Advanced to singles flight finals in first ever collegiate tournament at the Southern Cal Intercollegiates
Won first singles dual match with win over David Ray of Birmingham-Southern

Personal Highlights:

1999, 2000, 2002 member of Team Alabama Davis Cup
Won two state championships at Oak Mountain High School
Ranked No. 1 in Alabama in 2002
In 2001 won 16 year old Southern Doubles Championships
Competed in several ITF events around the world
Made three Round of 16 appearances in ITF singles events in 2002
Reached Finals of doubles in ITF in Barbados in 2002
