
Crimson Tide Set for SEC Fall Coach's Classic

The University of Alabama women's tennis team will play in Peach Tree City, Georgia, at the SEC Fall Coach's Classic on Friday through Sunday. The SEC Fall Coach's Classic marks the final tournament of the fall for the Crimson Tide.
Alabama will send seven players to the tournament which consists of four singles and two doubles draws. Alabama's Begovic pulled out of singles and doubles due to injury.
"The team is ready to end the fall season on a positive note," UA head coach Jenny Mainz said. "This is a good tournament to end the fall so we can see where we are at the end of the fall season and where we are in the conference."
Each singles draw will consist of 16 players and each doubles draw will have 16 doubles teams. All draws are compass draws, meaning each player is guaranteed four singles and doubles matches.
Play will begin at 8:00 a.m. in Peach Tree City, Georgia, on Friday. Alabama will open its spring schedule on January 25th against Georgia State at 9:00 a.m. and UT Chattanooga at 2:00 p.m.
