The Alabama women’s cross country team finished 14th at the NCAA South Region Championships on a rain-soaked course at Lambert Acres Golf Club in Maryville, Tenn.
Homestanding Tennessee won the meet with 72 points, just two points ahead of Florida State.
Alabama was led by junior Virnetta Greene with a 23:31.09 performance good for 40th place. Freshman Blair Davis was the Tide’s next finisher, taking 87th place with a 25:07.30.
Freshman Nicole Abram, junior Kara Nowak and senior Katie Kelly rounded out the Tide’s scoring five, finishing 96, 108 and 109 respectively.
The South Regional marks the end of the Tide’s season.
