- A three-time Scholastic All-American who is also a contributor in competition as well as the classroom
- Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) Executive Board Member which helps the Tuscaloosa and surrounding areas by planning community events including the Habitat for Humanity builds, Halloween Extravaganza and Project Angel Tree among others
- Volunteered at the RISE Center Holiday Party and Habitat for Humanity in the fall
- Helped lead Alabama to a win against Arkansas, competing on three events
