TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The No. 6 Alabama gymnastics team takes on the North Carolina Tar Heels this Friday in Coleman Coliseum starting at 7:30 p.m.

There will also be a photo booth with Big Al and various birthday related fun.
The first 500 fans will receive party favors and members of Big Al's Kids Club will receive a $1 ticket at the door with the Kids Club app.
It will also be Academic Achievement Night. Tuscaloosa city and county as well as Birmingham city elementary school students have received vouchers that can be redeemed for free admission for two.
Friday also marks Youth Night in Coleman Coliseum, with kids 12 and under receive $5 admission. The meet will also feature numerous prizes and contests throughout the night.
Earlier this season, at the Alabama-Kentucky meet, students, teachers and staff from local elementary schools signed up at the ReadBAMARead table and the school that had the most people sign in earned $1,000 worth of library books for their school. The winning school will be announced on Friday.
ReadBAMARead, Duckworth's literacy initiative, will hold the same contest again this week during the UA-UNC meet. The winning school from Friday's contest will be announced at the Tide's next home meet on March 16 against Oklahoma.
